The vaccine rollout has gone well so far in the spring, at least in the US it has. Some of the activities in sports world are staring to throttle back up for the summer time, including golf camps. Golf Camps have always been a popular destination for kids and high school athletes wanted to improve their game. Adults as well have started to enjoy and hybrid education and vacation experience. The PGA is a good source for golf camps and tournaments. Nike has the biggest selection of golf camps like it does in many sports in the US. College showcase camps give high school players a peak into what it takes to play college golf, and are frequently hosted no College campus and run by college coaches. There camps in almost every state. Most of them are taking reservations for the summer. Only time will tell if it safe for activates such as golf camps.

International travel still seem iffy for us, so we are not even going to try to find cool golf camps in great golf destination including Australia, New Zealand, England and South Africa. Colorado and Canada seem like good choices for the summer time this year.
The early front runner for destination golf school vacation was Larry Rinker's Colorado Golf School located in Vail, CO. It's the closest, we love Colorado, and how expensive can it be? Well, it's a lot. It's in the "if you have to ask, it cost too much" kind of cost structure. After a little more research, we found other nice but slightly affordable e golf camps for adults that start at about $1000 a day.
If golf camp sounds like a little too much golf and not enough vacation, a first class golf course, hotel, and resort can provide a relaxing atmosphere, a few hour of golf and golf lessons, and access to a round of iconic courses. Pebble, Tory Pines, a few nights in the Big Apple and a rounds at Beth Page Black, are all low cost alterative to 3 days of golf boot camp.

It’s been a long year since COVID-19 has changes our world. For the parents that have dealt with their kids education being done remotely, the summer of 2021 is a much anticipated time of the year. Hopefully some in person tennis camps will give our kids some sense of normalcy before they head back to real school in the fall.
